The inspiration for PHILOS came from my time in Athens, where sitting on cold stones at my favourite spot, Philopappos Hill, was uncomfortable. This led to the idea of a travel bag that doubles as a comfortable seat.
We humans long for comfort: pleasant clothes, soft shoes, a cosy place to sit. The latter is often neglected while travelling. PHILOS features a seat cushion that transforms into a shoulder bag with two inner pockets, held together by magnetic fasteners. PHILOS is eco-friendly and made from plant-based materials like coconut fiber, vegan felt, and Oleatex. Oleatex, a durable and recyclable vegan leather alternative, is made from olive industry residues, using renewable resources.

PHILOS features a seat cushion that transforms into a shoulder bag with two inner pockets, held together by magnetic fasteners.
The inside pockets offer storage space for a 500ml bottle and small everyday items such as keys, mobile phone, card holder, etc.

OLEATEX
is made from organic vegetable waste from the olive industry, which has no nutritional value for humans or animals. The material undergoes a careful process, from raw material production to the manufacture of the end product, and is completely biobased and 96% biodegradable and is produced vegan.
COCONUT FIBRE
is a purely plant-based material obtained from the fibre husks of the coconut. Plant fibre is 100% natural and, therefore, completely biodegradable. Coconut fibre mats are pleasantly firm, yet very flexible and have good climatic properties.
VIOLAN
is a vegan product made from rapidly renewable raw materials such as plant residues and wood fibres, which are obtained sustainably and processed in an environmentally friendly manner according to the latest technical standards. The material contains no animal components, is biodegradable and free of toxins.
